Best Credit Cards With Free Airport Lounge Access Including Guests in 2026
Best Credit Cards With Free Airport Lounge Guests in 2026
Airport lounge access can make a long travel day much more comfortable, but the benefit becomes considerably less valuable when you must pay every time your spouse, family member or travel companion enters with you.
Unfortunately, simply seeing “airport lounge access” on a credit card’s benefits page does not tell the entire story. Some cards include two complimentary guests, some include only the cardholder, and others have different policies depending on whether you visit a Priority Pass lounge, an issuer-operated lounge or an airline club.
The following credit cards offer some form of complimentary airport lounge access for guests as of August 2026.
Credit Cards Offering Free Airport Lounge Guests
| Credit card | Annual fee | Lounge network | Complimentary guests |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite | $550 | Priority Pass | Guest visits included; up to four memberships |
| Chase Sapphire Reserve | $795 | Priority Pass and Chase Sapphire Lounges | Two guests |
| Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business | $795 | Priority Pass and Chase Sapphire Lounges | Two guests |
| Citi Strata Elite | $595 | Priority Pass | Two guests |
| American Express Platinum | $895 | Priority Pass and Amex Global Lounge Collection | Two guests at Priority Pass; policies vary elsewhere |
| Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant American Express | $650 | Priority Pass | Two guests |

| Citi/AAdvantage Executive | $595 | Admirals Club | Two guests or immediate family |
| United Club Card | $695 | United Club | One adult guest and dependent children under 18 |
| Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express | $650 | Delta Sky Club | Four one-time guest passes annually |
Annual fees, welcome bonuses and benefits are subject to change. Always review the issuer's current terms before applying.
Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite
The Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite Credit Card may have one of the most generous Priority Pass arrangements available from a mainstream U.S. credit card.
The card includes up to four complimentary Priority Pass Select memberships. These memberships can be assigned to the primary cardholder and as many as three other people.
This is especially useful for families because the additional Priority Pass members do not have to travel with the primary cardholder. Each enrolled person has an independent membership.
The card has a $550 annual fee and also includes travel and lifestyle credits that can help offset much of that cost.
Best for: Families and groups that want several independent Priority Pass memberships.

Chase Sapphire Reserve
The Chase Sapphire Reserve includes access to Chase Sapphire Lounges by The Club and participating Priority Pass airport lounges.
The primary cardholder can bring up to two complimentary guests into participating Priority Pass and Chase Sapphire lounges. Some partner lounges, such as participating Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges and Air Canada Cafés, have different guest limits.
For couples who normally travel together, there is generally no reason to pay for an authorized user solely to get a spouse into a lounge. The spouse can simply enter as the primary cardholder's guest.
The downside is cost. The Sapphire Reserve now carries a $795 annual fee, so lounge access alone is unlikely to justify holding the card.
Best for: Travelers who can use Chase Sapphire Lounges and several of the card's other premium travel benefits.

Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business
The Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business provides the primary cardholder with Chase Sapphire Lounge and participating Priority Pass access.
The primary cardholder can bring up to two complimentary guests at participating lounges.
Employee cards do not automatically provide employees with independent lounge memberships, so this card works better when the business owner is traveling with employees rather than when employees travel independently.
Best for: Business owners who travel with a spouse, colleague or employee.

Citi Strata Elite
The Citi Strata Elite Card includes Priority Pass Select access for the cardholder and up to two complimentary guests per visit.
One particularly useful feature is its authorized-user structure. Authorized users can receive their own Priority Pass memberships, allowing two people in the same household to use lounge benefits even when traveling separately.
The current annual fee is $595, while authorized users cost substantially less than authorized users on some competing premium cards.
Best for: Couples who sometimes travel separately and want two independent lounge memberships.

American Express Platinum
The American Express Platinum Card offers access to a large collection of airport lounge networks, but its guest policy varies considerably depending upon the lounge.
The card's Priority Pass Select membership generally permits up to two complimentary guests at participating Priority Pass lounges.
The situation is different at Centurion Lounges. Platinum cardholders ordinarily pay for guests unless they meet Amex's annual spending requirement for complimentary guest privileges.
This makes the Platinum Card an excellent card for lounge variety but not necessarily the best choice for someone who always travels with a spouse.
Best for: Travelers who value access to numerous different airport lounge networks.

Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant American Express
The Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant American Express Card includes unlimited cardholder visits to participating Priority Pass lounges and complimentary guest privileges.
The card carries a $650 annual fee and also includes Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite status, elite-night credits, dining credits and an annual free-night certificate redeemable at qualifying Marriott properties.
For someone who already values the Marriott benefits, Priority Pass access can be a useful additional perk.
It would be difficult, however, to justify a $650 annual fee solely to obtain lounge access.
Best for: Marriott travelers who value Platinum Elite status and the annual free-night certificate.

Capital One Venture X Business
The Capital One Venture X Business retains an important benefit that distinguishes it from the personal Venture X: the business card continues to provide complimentary guest privileges at participating Priority Pass lounges.
The card has a $395 annual fee, making it one of the least expensive premium cards on this list.
It also includes:
- $300 annual Capital One Business Travel credit
- 10,000 anniversary miles
- Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application fee credit
- Capital One Lounge and Landing access
- Priority Pass membership
Capital One's own lounges have different guest rules, however, so do not assume the Priority Pass guest benefit automatically applies at Capital One Lounges.
Best for: Small-business owners who want relatively inexpensive premium lounge access.

Ritz-Carlton Credit Card
The legacy Ritz-Carlton Credit Card remains one of the more interesting premium lounge cards.
The card includes Priority Pass and Chase Sapphire Lounge privileges along with complimentary guests.
There is one significant catch:
You cannot apply directly for the Ritz-Carlton Card.
The card is generally obtained by product-changing an eligible Chase Marriott credit card after holding the account long enough to qualify for the conversion.
If you are interested in eventually obtaining the Ritz-Carlton Card, you can start by reviewing Chase's currently available Marriott cards:

The Ritz card has historically been particularly attractive because it combines lounge access with an annual Marriott free-night certificate and airline incidental credit.
Best for: Existing Chase Marriott cardholders interested in eventually product-changing to the Ritz-Carlton Card.
Citi/AAdvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard
The Citi/AAdvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard includes an Admirals Club membership for the primary cardholder.
The membership permits the cardholder to bring immediate family members or up to two guests, subject to American Airlines' eligible-travel requirements.
Unlike Priority Pass, Admirals Club access is airline-specific. This card therefore makes much more sense for someone who frequently flies American Airlines or another eligible Oneworld carrier.
Best for: Frequent American Airlines travelers.

United Club Card
The United Club Card includes a full United Club membership.
The standard membership allows:
The cardholder + one adult guest + dependent children under age 18.
That can make the United Club Card considerably more valuable to families than a card limited to two guests.
Cardholders who unlock United Club All Access membership through qualifying United Premier status or card spending receive expanded guest privileges, including up to two adult guests or one adult guest plus dependent children.
Best for: Couples and families that frequently fly United.

Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express
The Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express Card handles guest access differently.
Instead of providing unlimited free guests, the card includes four one-time Delta Sky Club guest passes each Medallion year.
The cardholder receives a limited number of Delta Sky Club visits each year unless the account reaches Delta and Amex's required annual spending threshold for unlimited access.
This arrangement can work well for a solo Delta traveler who occasionally travels with a spouse, but it is significantly less appealing to a couple that travels together frequently.
Best for: Delta flyers who need complimentary guest access only occasionally.

What About the Personal Capital One Venture X?
The personal Capital One Venture X still provides cardholder lounge access, but it is no longer one of my preferred cards for travelers primarily interested in bringing a spouse or family member into Priority Pass lounges for free.
Capital One changed its lounge guest policies in 2026, making the Venture X Business significantly more attractive for Priority Pass guest access.
If your primary objective is lounge access for two travelers, be careful not to assume that benefits advertised for Venture X Business also apply to the personal Venture X.
Which Lounge Card Is Best for Couples?
For a couple that normally travels together, there is usually no need to pay for two independent lounge memberships. One card offering complimentary guest access is sufficient.
Best overall guest policy: Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite
The ability to issue multiple Priority Pass memberships makes the Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite particularly flexible.
Best authorized-user value: Citi Strata Elite
The Citi Strata Elite is especially interesting for couples who sometimes travel separately because an authorized user can have independent lounge privileges.
Best lower-fee business option: Venture X Business
At $395 per year, the Capital One Venture X Business is one of the least expensive ways to obtain premium lounge access with complimentary Priority Pass guests.
Best Marriott option: Ritz-Carlton Card
The Ritz-Carlton Card combines lounge benefits, an annual Marriott free-night certificate and an airline incidental credit for a comparatively reasonable premium-card annual fee.
You cannot apply for it directly, however. The typical route is starting with an eligible Chase Marriott Bonvoy credit card and later requesting a product change.
Best airline-specific option: United Club Card
For families, the United Club Card has an unusually useful policy because the standard membership includes one adult guest plus dependent children under 18.
Important Lounge-Access Restrictions
Even when a credit card includes complimentary guests, entry is never completely guaranteed.
Participating lounges can restrict access because of crowding, limit entry to a certain number of hours before departure or impose their own rules concerning children and guests.
The cardholder will generally need to present:
- A same-day boarding pass
- Identification
- An eligible credit card or digital lounge membership
Priority Pass memberships are also not interchangeable. One credit card may include guests while another charges for them.
Always check both the credit card's current benefits guide and the individual lounge's entry requirements before traveling.
Final Thoughts
Airport lounge access is valuable only when the benefit fits the way you actually travel.
A cardholder-only membership may sound impressive, but its value drops rapidly if you regularly travel with a spouse and have to pay $35-$50 every time that person joins you.
For couples traveling together, the Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite, Citi Strata Elite, Chase Sapphire Reserve and Capital One Venture X Business are among the strongest general-purpose choices.
Airline loyalists may receive more practical value from the Citi/AAdvantage Executive, United Club Card or Delta SkyMiles Reserve.
Most importantly, don't choose a $400-$900 credit card solely because it has Priority Pass. Look at the airports you actually use, determine which lounges are available there and then evaluate the card's annual fee after subtracting the value of credits and benefits you would genuinely use.
