United Credit Cards: Earn Up to 100,000 Miles With New Limited-Time Offers
United and Chase have launched elevated welcome offers of up to 100,000 MileagePlus miles, including a best-ever 50K offer on the no-fee United Gateway Card.
Chase and United have rolled out elevated welcome offers across all four consumer United MileagePlus credit cards, with bonuses ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 miles.
The new offers launched October 1, 2026. The standout is the no-annual-fee United Gateway Card, which Chase is calling its best offer ever, while the United Explorer Card has brought back its previous best offer.
Current United Credit Card Offers
United Gateway Card — Up to 50,000 Miles
The no-annual-fee Gateway Card now offers:
- 40,000 miles after spending $1,000 in the first 3 months.
- 10,000 additional miles after adding an authorized user within the first 3 months.
- 50,000 total bonus miles.
- $0 annual fee.
Chase specifically labels this the card's best offer ever.

United Explorer Card — Up to 80,000 Miles
The Explorer offer has returned to its previous high:
- 70,000 miles after spending $3,000 in the first 3 months.
- 10,000 additional miles after adding an authorized user within the first 3 months.
- 80,000 total bonus miles.
- $0 annual fee the first year, then $150.

United Quest Card — Up to 90,000 Miles + 500 PQP
The Quest Card now offers:
- 80,000 miles after spending $4,000 in the first 3 months.
- 10,000 additional miles after adding an authorized user within the first 3 months.
- 500 Premier Qualifying Points after your first purchase.
- $350 annual fee.
The ability to trigger the 500 PQP after just one purchase makes this particularly interesting for someone trying to reach the next United Premier tier before year-end.

At the top of the lineup is the premium United Club Card:

What Do the Cards Include?
The Gateway Card is the simple no-fee option. It earns 2x miles on United purchases, gas stations, local transit and commuting, and has no foreign transaction fees. Spending $10,000 in a calendar year unlocks additional United benefits, including two first checked-bag certificates and discounted award pricing.
The Explorer Card adds considerably more useful travel benefits. Cardholders receive a free first checked bag for themselves and one companion, two United Club one-time passes each year, Group 2 priority boarding and a Global Entry, TSA PreCheck or NEXUS credit. Cardholders also save at least 10% on eligible United award flights.
The Quest Card is aimed at more frequent United flyers. It includes a $200 annual United TravelBank credit, free first and second checked bags for the cardholder and one companion, an annual 10,000-mile award discount, the ability to earn additional PQP from spending, and at least 10% savings on United award flights.
The Club Card adds full United Club access, Premier Access airport services, two free checked bags for the cardholder and a companion, and significantly higher PQP-earning potential. It is clearly geared toward frequent United travelers who can make use of the lounge membership and other premium benefits.
Eligibility
Each United card has its own welcome-bonus restriction. Chase states that the card is unavailable if you currently hold that particular card or received a new-cardmember bonus for the same card within the previous 24 months.
As always, check the exact offer displayed on the application page before submitting an application because offers can vary or change.
Trash Panda Summation
These are materially better United offers than the ones that were available immediately before October.
The Gateway Card is especially noteworthy because 50,000 MileagePlus miles for only $1,000 in required spending — plus adding an authorized user — comes with no annual fee, and Chase is calling it the card's best offer ever.
The Explorer Card's 80,000-mile offer is also compelling for someone who flies United occasionally and can use the checked-bag benefit and United Club passes.
Frequent United travelers may get more long-term value from the Quest or Club cards, but their considerably higher annual fees mean the benefits need to fit your actual travel habits rather than simply chasing the largest signup bonus.
There is no published expiration date, so these should be treated as limited-time offers rather than permanent signup bonuses.
