UPDATE- It's Here! Annual Marriott Elite Night Bonus 2026 (and I'm not happy)
If you are stacking up elite nights with Marriott to elevate your Bonvoy status, Marriott is running an annual extra elite night promotion with a 2,500 point "kicker" per stay. I value 1,000 Bonvoy points at $8.00 so, if you are doing a "mattress run" (showing up and booking only for the sake of getting the loyalty points), this can make it a bit more economical.
Keep in mind, not all Marriott locations give a full point elite night per day.The following only offer 1/2 elite night (plus the promotion bonus):
- City Express
- Four Points Flex
- Protea Hotels
- Series by Marriott
Other Marriott location offer the expected standard one elite night plus the bonus elite night. Registration should be in your Bonvoy account under promotions (log into your Bonvoy account, click on your name in the upper right and select "Promotions").
Also, very important:
"Registration of your Marriott Bonvoy® Account is required. Marriott Bonvoy members who register for this promotion between 12:00am on February 10, 2026, and 11:59pm on April 26, 2026, will earn 2,500 bonus Points on each post-registration eligible paid stay during the 75-day promotion earning period. In addition, you will earn one bonus Elite Night Credit for each different eligible hotel brand at which you stay during the 75-day promotion earning period." So, no double elite night bonuses per night; just an extra point for a stay per hotel brand (disappointing, to say the least).
