EXPIRED - Chase Sapphire Preferred 100K Offer & Review — Working Link
A working Chase Sapphire Preferred application link is offering 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points after $5,000 in three months — 25K more than Chase's standard public offer.
The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card currently has a working application link offering 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points after spending $5,000 in the first three months.
That's particularly interesting because Chase's regular public offer is currently only 75,000 points after the same $5,000 spending requirement. This working link therefore provides an extra 25,000 Ultimate Rewards points.
Current 100K Offer (now 75K)
The working offer is:
100,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points after spending $5,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening.
Annual fee: $95
Danny Deal Guru reported the working link on September 22, and I was able to independently confirm that the Chase application page itself is displaying the 100K bonus.
That's notable because the previous widely available 100K Sapphire Preferred promotion officially ended July 30.
There is no published expiration date on this newly working link, so it could disappear at any time.
Sapphire Preferred Earning Rates
The current Sapphire Preferred earns:
- 5X on travel purchased through Chase Travel, subject to exclusions
- 3X on dining
- 3X at gas stations and EV charging
- 3X on online grocery purchases
- 3X on select streaming services
- 3X on qualifying vacation-home rentals including brands such as Airbnb and Vrbo
- 2X on other travel
- 1X on other purchases
The card continues to carry a relatively modest $95 annual fee.
$100 Annual Chase Travel Hotel Credit
The refreshed Sapphire Preferred includes up to $100 per account anniversary year in statement credits for qualifying hotel stays booked through Chase Travel.
If you can naturally use the entire credit, it can effectively offset the card's $95 annual fee.
Just remember that booking a chain hotel through Chase Travel may mean giving up hotel points, elite-night credit or elite benefits depending on the program.
Why Ultimate Rewards Are Valuable
The bigger attraction is access to Chase Ultimate Rewards transfer partners.
Partners include programs such as:
Air Canada Aeroplan, United MileagePlus, Southwest Rapid Rewards, Air France-KLM Flying Blue, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, Singapore KrisFlyer, Marriott Bonvoy, IHG One Rewards and Wyndham Rewards.
That flexibility can make 100,000 Ultimate Rewards significantly more useful than simply treating the bonus as cash back.
One negative from Chase's 2026 Sapphire Preferred refresh is the reduced transfer ratio to World of Hyatt for new cardmembers, diminishing what historically had been one of the strongest Ultimate Rewards redemption options.
Travel Protections
The Sapphire Preferred also remains unusually strong for a $95 card when it comes to travel protections.
Benefits include primary rental-car collision coverage, trip cancellation and interruption insurance, trip-delay coverage and baggage-delay protection.
There are also no foreign transaction fees.
Trash Panda Take
This is much more interesting than the standard 75K Sapphire Preferred offer.
You're getting 25,000 additional Ultimate Rewards points without any additional spending requirement — both offers require $5,000 in three months.
The Sapphire Preferred also became a more useful everyday card following its 2026 refresh, particularly with 3X gas, vacation rentals and the $100 Chase Travel hotel credit.
The reduced Hyatt transfer value is disappointing, but 100,000 transferable Ultimate Rewards points for a card with a $95 annual fee is still an unusually large welcome bonus.
The biggest issue may simply be how long the link lasts. Since Chase's regular public offer remains at 75K, I would treat this as a working-link opportunity rather than a new nationwide public offer.
