Chase is rolling out new Sapphire Reserve benefits, credits and anniversary promotions for personal and business cardholders.

Chase is rolling out several notable updates to both the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ and the personal Chase Sapphire Reserve®.

The biggest changes include a doubled Edit credit on the Business Reserve, a new cap on 3x advertising earnings, several limited-time personal-card travel credits, an improved DoorDash benefit and a 10-million-point anniversary giveaway.

Sapphire Reserve for Business Changes

The Edit Credit Doubles to $1,000

Starting January 1, 2027, the Sapphire Reserve for Business will offer up to $1,000 per year in statement credits for qualifying stays booked through The Edit by Chase Travel.

The credit remains limited to $250 per qualifying transaction, meaning cardholders can potentially receive the credit on four stays per year instead of two.

Qualifying bookings generally require:

  • A minimum two-night stay
  • A prepaid "Pay Now" reservation
  • Booking through The Edit by Chase Travel
  • Payment with the Sapphire Reserve for Business

The Edit also typically includes benefits such as breakfast for two, a property credit, possible room upgrades and early check-in or late checkout when available.

This is a meaningful improvement for cardholders who already use luxury hotel programs.

3x Advertising Gets a $1 Million Cap

The Business Reserve currently earns 3 Ultimate Rewards points per dollar on eligible social-media and search-engine advertising.

Starting November 15, 2026, that 3x earning rate will be limited to the first $1 million in eligible advertising purchases per account anniversary year.

After that, purchases earn the standard 1x rate.

This is technically a devaluation, but the cap is so high that it should affect relatively few businesses.

A company can still earn up to 3 million Ultimate Rewards points annually before reaching the cap.

Sapphire Reserve 10th Anniversary Offers

Chase is also celebrating the personal Sapphire Reserve's 10th anniversary with several limited-time Chase Offers.

These offers require activation and may not appear for every cardholder.

If all five offers appear on your card, there is up to $1,050 in potential statement credits available.

The standout may be the JSX offer, which provides up to $200 back after spending $200 on an eligible semi-private flight.

As always, these offers are most valuable when they match travel you were already planning.

DoorDash Benefit Improves

Beginning October 1, 2026, personal Sapphire Reserve cardholders can receive up to $35 per month in DoorDash value through the end of 2029.

That includes:

  • A $15 monthly promotional credit
  • Two separate $10 monthly promotions for qualifying non-restaurant orders
  • Complimentary DashPass

Used every month, the credits could provide up to $420 per year in promotional value.

The real value will depend on whether you already use DoorDash.

Chase Is Giving Away 10 Million Points

Chase has also launched a Sapphire Reserve anniversary contest with a total of 10 million Ultimate Rewards points available.

There will be 10 finalists, and each finalist receives:

  • 500,000 Ultimate Rewards points
  • A $1,500 check

One finalist then becomes the grand-prize winner and receives an additional:

  • 5,000,000 Ultimate Rewards points
  • A $15,000 check

That means the grand-prize winner receives a total of:

5.5 million Ultimate Rewards points plus $16,500 in checks.

To enter, eligible cardholders must create a short travel video, post it publicly on Instagram or TikTok, tag Chase Sapphire and submit the entry to Chase.

Entries must be received by November 6, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Bottom Line

The Business Reserve changes are mostly positive for typical cardholders.

The new $1 million cap on 3x advertising is unlikely to affect most businesses, while doubling The Edit credit from $500 to $1,000 creates significantly more potential value for cardholders who already use luxury hotels.

The personal Sapphire Reserve anniversary offers are more situational, but up to $1,050 in targeted travel credits, the expanded DoorDash benefit and the anniversary contest give existing cardholders several opportunities for extra value.

If you have a Sapphire Reserve, check your Chase Offers before booking any upcoming travel. The anniversary offers are targeted, require activation and have relatively short expiration dates.
